Cost to licence your truck, annual?

Okay, I'm just curious what you guys, and I think I want to compare the newer ones really, what do you guys pay each year for the tags on your trucks?? My annual is right about $620... But I also have special vanity plates which are $70 of that...

That's in Nebraska...

$125 in Michigan, state issued plate. The cost is based on cost of the base trim level when it was new. So, a 2003 4x4 Supercrew Lariat had a base price of $34k. Options are not included in the fee structure. it goes down a couple bucker per year, but not as much as the value.

My plates are due down here in Texas this month, and the cost for new tags on my '05 XLT is $64.88.

Since I live in Harris County I am also required to get an emmissions test done, which usually runs around $45.00 -- if you want to count that as part of licensing costs.

Does anybody know if there's a cheaper price for those if you're a volunteer Firefighter? I've heard rumor of this, but the other guys at the station are filthy rich, so they're not worried abou things like this. I guess it could be (if any) off of the plates, registration, or inspection... Anybody know?

Also, do the plates for firefighters cost as vanity plates? I haven't been in the market, but that would be a cool addition.

Here in Indiana the first year on my 05 XLT was around $350 second year around $275 and just renewed them again this year for $214. My old 89 ranger was like $20-$30 by the time I got rid of it.

You guys talking about the price of vehicle registration to put the tags on or personal property taxes also?

The cost to get tags (vehicle registration) is just about $25 or $35 dollars. It's the personal property tax that you have to pay to be able to register your vehicle that sucks. Mine this year was 265 dollars.

in this state its based on what weight class your vehicle is.

A car, SUV and some trucks are only $36 but it goes up depending on gross weight. I pay $81 for the F150 with a class 2 sticker but i could get away with a class 1.

PA weight class fees

I know that you are looking for the newer style ones, but I just renewed my '01 here in NY for about $55 for two years.

Sport03- I have Volunteer plates on my truck and they cost me a few $$ more initially and that was it.

From: ....I could be anywhere....
200$ per yr to get a little sticker that says "07"
Next yr.."08" etc..
And your new registration..

Commercial plates "Run Out" at the end of each yr..
So its 200$ to keep the plate..
Nevermind the insurance and the excise tax..

I have commercial plates on the truck..
No choice in the matter...

...zap!
