I snapped a picture of Hale-Bopp back in 96 with my mom's new Canon Rebel with a 300mm lens. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, just playing around. But the picture turned out really good, not anything like above but impressive for this amateur not knowing anything about photography. I need to find that and scan it one of these days. We'll be seeing that one again in 4377!
