What Do You Do..
It's funny you bring this up because just a few days ago we're riding in hubby's F250 Amarillo and passed another one and hubby waved at the dude. I started cracking up and was all "He was looking at you like 'who tf are you?' "
When I had my lifted Toyota I would give the 'high 5 wave' to other lifted Toyotas, but in my F150 since it's stock and there are a million on the road, I just look at the driver but don't wave.

If I waved at everyone in a F-150 down here in Texas I'd be going in for wrist surgery within a week!
Back in high school, however, whenever I would take my old man's truck out I'd have to deal with all these old farts waving at me because my dad's truck was well known around our small town and everyone just assumed that was ol' Bill heading downtown for something.
Let me tell you -- it's very uncool to be a teenager on a date and have every gray-hair in town waving at you wherever you drive.....

I live out in the country. We all wave at each other, regardless of what we're driving.
Now, when I get into town going to work, that's a different story. I reserve the one finger salute for all the no driving, cell phone talking, make up applying, hamburger eating while driving SOBs around here.
