The size of the engine had nothing to do with it. it was the size of his brain that was the problem.

4wd dont fix stupid, and wouldn't have helped him out either, he'd just sank all 4 corners in wet sand with those narrow tires.

There was enough people there, I would have atleast put someone on the ski and tried using it to push. My little 433 cc stand up when strapped to the trailer can push my truck up a boat ramp with the truck in park and e-brake on with barley any throttle!

Also if it would have been a Grand Cherokee, they have pontoons on the inside of the frame, when the surf came in it would have picked it up out of the hole and pushed it up further on the bank.
