Ohhhhh, my mom got it for me for Christmas back around 2002 0r 2003, so well out of the 1-yr warranty for power tools. I don't have a convenient Sears around me and I haven't had time to go hunt one down since I found it broke. I just need to keep moving forward on my basement (trying to make it liveable before the end of August) so I just ordered a new charger to keep things rolling. Just considered it a cost of finishing the basement!
