That would be my scare that it would not fail to fire if I accidentally bumped it with the safety off.
When I carry, I keep one in the chamber but safety on and still a little nervous about it going off, but is a risk I'm willing to assume.

carrying with a round in the chamber is a must. under a stressful situation you need every second available and racking the slide will take time and allow the bad guy a chance to shoot you. also, if you are in a fight and only have one hand available, how are you going to rack it.

i carry with one in the pipe and Glocks have no external safety. i keep my pistol in its holster unless I'm at the range or cleaning it. i have no worries about having an AD.

When pocket carrying my KelTec, i also keep one in the pipe but the trigger pull is enormous. it has no safeties at all.

Bought one a few weeks ago for a vacation condo on the beach...Wanted the SS and was looking for something that is more compact than a shotgun, but did not want a pistol round that would over penetrate into another unit.

Tried a few different loads: #6, #4, and some triple ought buck [000]. Settled on the 4 shot, but kept some of the 000 buck [3 pellets in the .410]: at close range, it is bad news to the bad guy.

Been thinking about trying it on some thrown targets....that would be tough I think, but might be fun.

Woof

I am more worried about getting that darn combination trigger lock undone.
