This is the first I've heard about this. That in it's self is sad.
The death penalty is far too humane for these murderers. I could care less about their race or sex. They should suffer ten times what they made their innocent victims suffer.
What's sad is that there are some in this country that believe murderers like this can be rehabilitated or for some reason deserve to live a life sentence. Crimes like this are what the death penalty is for. We need to use it!
There is clearly a double standard. Clearly. I think that's secondary in this case. Proper punishment should be the main focus.

my wifes grandma was murdered, it was not quick she suffered for what is estimated at 45 minutes. , the kids tried 3 ways to kill her over that time.
we wanted the death penaty, the kids were 15 and 16 , the DA said it would be hard to get the death penalty. he told us that it would take 1 year to go to trial. If we went after death, then every bleading heart group would send money and lawyers. It could take 2 years or more to go to trial and they would sit on death row for 8 year. if he went after a life sentence, no parol for 40 year, this would not get the attention of the national media, no high power legal defense would show up and in one year we would start trying to live again knowing the 2 kids would be in prison for 40 year.
i was pro death sentence until it actually involved me.
regurgitating a crime like this will only draw the wrong kind of attention to the case and a young gun lawyer might be out to make a name for himself and get these POS out on a technicality.

WoW.....So first Jesse and Al are wrong because they didn't push for national coverage of this sick incident???? Here is something for those of you who say this didn't get the coverage it should have,
I am in the middle East and heard about this on the News over here. So Not only did it get National Coverage, it got international coverage.
Jesse nor Al had a reason to speakout about this crime, it wasn't racialy motivated these were just sick individuals who would have taken advantage of anyone that would have been there. So to accuse Jesse and Al Sharpton of not doing enough would essentially be the same as saying " An AIDS awareness Group wasn't Speaking out enough for Breast Cancer Awareness"
