This is rediculous.

I have seen this happen before and it happens way too often. Someone decides that they have found something interesting that they would like to share with the other members of the forum. So they make a thread only to find that sometime in the past their topic has already been discussed. This prompts an attack from some other members who saw the previous topic. Then those who didn't see the previous thread in the past tell the others to get a life and stop spending all their time on ths website. This results in page after page of pointless bickering and arguing.

Look, people who repost, search briefly before you make your new thread. If you discover it is a repost, apologize and don't discuss it any further unless you have something new to add.

People who get all pissed off, don't get all pissed off. If you want to inform someone that their thread is a repost, let them know politely. If you're just going to scold and berate them, then just let it go, don't say anything, and ignore the thread.

This bickering is pointless. I am tired of seeing all these people fight and insult each other's intelligence. This thread wasn't the worst of all the arguing, but it is one of many.

Seriously, people, you can express your opinion, but there's no need to be disrespectful.

Start a thread about it. No, wait, search first because one just like it already exists.

I did in the first reply.

The disrespect is in the way the OP didn't look and see if this topic had already been covered, as well as it being posted in the incorrect forum. It's all included in this thing some have no clue about, thread ettiquite.
