Can this be fixed?

My wife decided that it would be a good idea to water her house plants on our parquet floors. Unfortunately, the floors disagreed. I have taken up several of the warped and buckling pieces of flooring and they seem to be okay. I may have to trim them down a little bit.

Some of the adjacent pieces of flooring are also loose, but I think that they were that way before this happened and that probably didn't help the whole issue.

Here are some pictures of what the floor looked like a couple of days ago and what it looks like now. It appears that the previous homeowner, or installer just laid the parquet on top of some old hideous tile.

Is there anyway that I can trim the tile down with some type of saw and then just reglue it to the floor or am I going to have to take up every bit of this floor and then redo it with new parquet tiles, or whatever I decide to to?

You might be ok. The wood expanded because of the water and caused it to buckle up. Try just letting everything dry out real good and glueing everthing back down

Yea I agree, there is no way that tile buckled or warped in any way. Worst case senario, I'd just replace those 8 squares. They might not match perfectly but better and much much cheaper than redoing the entire job. You can always put a rug or plant over them to hide any mis matched squares.

All of the squares once taken out were pretty flat. They just swole up and that pushed them up. I have actually sanded some of the sides and cut a few of them and I am going to try and drop them back in there. I bought the right glue and hopefully when I am done you won't be able to tell much of a difference. I am trying to dry fit them right now and they look pretty good. I just need to get them glued down.

Fixing these few tiles instead of replacing the whole floor will save me quite a bit of $$$$$$$$$$.

I thought for a moment or two that I was having a Jamzwayne moment.
