Good morning. I hate it when that happens too.

Just grab a cup of and watch the morning news....you never know, it just might turn out to be one of the best days yet.

These two words . . . "important work " . . . just don't go together, at least not in my universe. So, no, I couldn't possibly do that. I could attend to totally useless stuff (just about everything my job entails) but what would be the point of that?

Actually, I fell asleep shortly after making that post . . . but only for about 90 mins. Needless to say I'm a tired puppy right now and am going to need copious amounts of coffee today . . . all day.

Point taken....

Plenty of time to get "in the grand scheme of things, this means absolutely nothing and won't be remembered at all in a few years" work done.

I was going to say/write "You're familiar with my work!", but then I realized that this is actually true of everything.

Actually with my job I create memories that wil llast for a lifetime and beyond. However they just wont remeber who did it for them and they also arent up at 4 am either so nothing I can do. Although, I am ussually up at 4 am sometimes leaving sometimes just getting home, to or from creating memories.

However the memories I create in the grand scheme of things really isn;t that important either.

First of all (and this is not my main point but I'll bring it up first . . . )

A: You don't create memories. You may be involved in a process that can lead to a memory being created in one's own mind . . . but, whatever . . .

and

B: Question: Memories last beyond one's lifetime? How do you know this? How long does the brain continue to function after one's death? Are memories not a part of brain function? We need to discuss this when I get out there!

Now, where was I? (See, my memory is failing) . . . oh yeah, as you correctly point out . . . ultimately, it's all meaningless anyway.

Just remember, the "grand scheme" is REALLY BIG!

Becasue the loved ones still have fond memories of the person long after they are gone, so there for thier memory lives on. Capturing thier likeness keeps thier memory alive in thier loved ones thoughts.
