finals week...
finals week...
so it's finals week, and damn I cant wait to be done with school. Sad part is I'm just a sophomore. I'd at least like an associates degree soon so I can feel like I'm accomplishing something. I just took my trig final and it was BRUTAL, and I'm actually pretty good with math. Damn University of Houston really knows how to layer it on....
I'm feeling a bit stressed at the moment.

I'm glad I don't have a major that sucks.
I have one final tommorow where I all I have to do is draw stuff on the computer, and one more on Thursday and its open book. HAHA
The teacher's philosophy is:
"In the real world, you will never have to remember this stuff. You will have books ready in hand to look it up. Might as well start now."

Manufacturing Engineer/Technology.
Basically a broad degree in Industrial technology inc. Engineering Grapgics and design (Autocad and solids modeling), plant layout and design, basic electronins, basic fluid power systems (hydraulics and neumatics), machining parts (With machines and with CNC). Along with management classes so I can slide in as an entry level manager/supervisor somewhere.
EDIT: Anybody hiring? LOL

I took thermo last semester. Good luck with it. I had a crappy teacher and made it harder than it should have been. I got a B in Calc 4 this semester. I took my final last week. Thats my only B in calculus; the rest have been C's. Its Differential Equations, Reservoir Fundamentals and Drilling next semester...
Been there done that. I will be graduating saturday with a degree in Civil Engineering at Syracuse University. It has been a long four years but it will be worth it in the long run. Now I just have to find a job to pay off my student loans.
dang, im about to be a senior in highschool and yall are scarring me!
our school offers college credit courses in partnership with UCA, and we have ex-college professors as teachers (they're actually the nicest teachers compared to the normal ones). some of my buddies say the classes are hard and some say its a breeze (kinda), so i dont know what to believe. btw i plan on majoring in either computer science or information technology. highest on act is 24 and i'm shooting for 27 to get full paid tuition at the 2 universities im looking at.
