None of these boycott email scams will ever work.
When the price of gas goes past 3 bucks a gallon my stubborn and vindictive personality kicks in. I live in a small town where most services are less than six blocks away from my house and I start to walk. I/we walk to the grocery store-with coaster wagon if needed, to the post office, movie/video place, business district and church and leave the vehicles parked. I realize that the bulk of Americans live in suburb/metro areas where this is not possible due to distance, time and safety concerns, but I can do this here and I will. I am advocating nothing here and my lone protest solves nothing and saves little but I feel a whole lot better when I can in some small way say F-YOU to the oil co's.

Like it was said earlier... $3B loss today, $6+ profit tomorrow. It all evens out. It's called Chaos Theory.

Ah... You guys do what ever you need to do, but if I need gas that day I will get it.
Like I said last year when all the gas price bitchers come out. I hope it raises 3 more dollars, so it will filter out most of the traffic out of my way.

can you either go back under your money tree or actually realize that not everybody has cash flowing out of their *******s.
When refinery #123 doesn't sell gas to Exxon staion #789, then they sell it to Shell station #098...
The fuel will be used... you're accomplishing absolutely nothing by not purchasing fuel on a single day...
The only way to put a significant dent into 'Big Oil' is to convert your vehicle over to another fuel where they don't control the market. The only one along those lines that comes to mind is used vegetable oil. Good luck with that.
Again, I'm all for sticking to Big Oil but, to think that not buying fuel from a specific brand for a day (or any other amount of time) is going to make a lick of difference, you're grossly mistaken.

Prior to our last union contract vote I found out parking cost $5. I brought 500 pennies to pay for parking and gave the parking attendant the 500 pennies for the parking fee. He suffered hauling those 500 pennies in his little parking lot attendant apron for the entire day. Hmmmmm.
