box engines help

hey guys,

a few weeks ago there was that huge rain storm up in the tri state area and my friends 98 toyota camry got soaked in 1.5feet of water in the parking garage under his appartment. other than the smell of nasty old water, the car needs a new engine.

i was wondering where i could point my friend for a crate engine for toyotas so he doesnt have to take the bus to college any more. searching it on google keeps giving me all these 300-800hp engines and i cant just a pain old stock engine that isn't salvage. i didnt know what was a reliable site for this kind of purchase. thanks for any help.

1st, tell him to buy a truck like yours, and he wouldn't have that problem.

2nd, if he insists on keeping the toy, he deserves to ride the bus.

3rd, if you still want to help him, tell him to go to his local toy dealer. They are the only decent place to get a crate motor for his pile of rice.

haha thats the advice i gave him, straight up printed this thread page and ran it over to his appartment, problem is he doenst have money for a new car/truck and any used car/truck that is less than the cost of a new engine is prolly gonna fall appart within a year.
