Squirrels trip me out. I sit on the back porch early in the morning on weekends drinking my coffee, and I watch these assclowns run along the back fence. They do it on the power lines too.
There is a tree on the east side of my garden and the fence runs right next to it. Well, a Mockingbird has a nest up there somewhere. Well, if you know Mockingbirds, they are very territorial. They are either applauded or cursed for their persistence in nocturnal singing or in the defense of their territory
Anyway, the bird wins every time. She'll swoop down at em and sometimes knock em off the fence. I laugh my butt off every time too.

I found a great way to keep em out of the bird feeder.
Take an old 5 gallon bucket and cut a hole in the bottom just big enough to fit over the post the feeder is on. Put a bolt through the post and slide the bucket upside down over the post so it rests on the bolt.
Works like a charm.

I said the same thing at first, but after awhile, I had to do something. It didnt look all that bad once I painted it.

I'd still like to see that.
Our dogs are too stupid, or too lazy, or too slow. They dont bother the squirrels, I guess it's cause they cant catch em.

Well Jamzypooh my butter-eating pic wasn't one my laptop... thinking it might be in my archives, as it was a long time ago. Maybe this will motivate me to clean my office and fire up the archive server...
