Bill Murrays shop?
Bill Murrays shop?
Anybody know what Bill Murrays shop is called or where it is located? I know it is a hobby store. I am staying in Kennesaw this week and next and would like to go check out his store. I just can't remember the name of it and I checked a little bit on the site but couldn't find anything.
I tried to PM him a couple of days ago but he has never answered.
Bill Murray? Steve? anyone else?

Cool, I saw the sign for it Yesterday but I wasn't sure if that was the store or not.
It is almost right across the road from where I am staying. I am at the Wingate off of Barrett

HobbyTown is a really cool store .. a dangerous place for me to go with my wallet.
Hmmm.
No commercials allowed, but...........
It is in the Cobb Place Shopping Center, about midway between I 75 and Cobb Parkway (Hwy 41).
Sadly, I am committed for the weekend for Honey Do's and will not be in the store Sat/Sun but will be back on Monday.
If you need help/advice, you can call me at 770-426-8034, my home number, during the weekend. I do offer a special discount to f150online members but you need to let me know you are coming.

I rode by the store today but went and got something to eat and didn't make it back.
Will you be there during the week next week, say after 5pm? Thats when I get out of my class. I may go and browse around this weekend though. I don't have much else to do.
On that subject, is there anywhere to go and do within say 50 miles that doesn't involve going into Atlanta? I'll more than likely be by myself so I was looking for something to do.
If you are a Civil War buff, check out Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. It is operated by the National Park Service - http://www.nps.gov/kemo/
Or, the Southern Museum of Civil War, which is affiliated with the Smithsonian. http://www.southernmuseum.org/
Stone Mountain Park is about 40 miles away, and you would not have to go in or through the city to get there (though I285 may be worse) - http://www.stonemountainpark.com/

Bill's store is one of the kingingest-asses-stores (??) of all time. I bought a T-Maxx from him about a year and a half ago. The guys in the RC dept are super nice and know everything there is to know about everything RC. Oh, and if you have your T-Maxx up to 40MPH and knock the **** out of a telephone pole, his guys can have you up and running in no time :Oops!:
I'll have to try out some of those things. Maybe tomorrow since I just woke up at 2:10pm. I know I am lazy. I sure wouldn't have been able to do that at home, especially if my wife was around.
I may just go for a ride today. I don't mind even though I am driving a Chevy 2500 Express van. The companys paying for the gas.

Thanks for the nice words about the store and the State.
DZ, I do not sell that particular heli but one just like it from Spinmaster.
There are dozens of clones of the original Picco Z available now, I just happen to like the Havoc. If you want a "real" mini heli, the Electriflight Blade CX2 is probably the hottest ticket right now. Around $200.
Paul, I have an unbreakable rule that I leave the store promptly at 4:00 but I will leave your name and bonafides with my managers if you come by after that. You can call me at home if you have any questions.
Raoul has his initials carved on the gonads of one of the horses at Stone Mountain so it is a little hard to see. You have to take the ski lift thingie to get close enough.
Bill
PS: Somehow my PM and email notification got turned off but they are now on again.

Bill,
I went into your store today and all I can say is WOW! I spent almost an hour just walking around looking at everything. I did end up buy one of the small Blue Angels models. I would love to come back when I have a couple of hundred dollars to spend. I would buy a RC plane and a helicopter.
You have a very nice store and everyone that I spoke to was friendly.
BTW, I love the train set you have set up.
