Ive been talking to this girl for about 6 months and we were getting into each other a lot. Till about a month ago Ive noticed that she was drifting apart from me and she kept denying it. Then prom happened last weekend and it was great then yesterday she screwed up my plans with her and know Im depressed because I wanted to spend time with her before she leaves. Ive told her constantly how much she means to me and she says the same thing but now Im only good to her as a friend. Thats all Im good for.

Some of you might say that its all high school relationship problems but the thing is that I leave for Parris Island in 3 months and with my MOS 0321 Recon, Ill be deployed for a very long time. And for the next few years, there wont be time for looking for someone. I want the satisfaction knowing that she is safe and knowing that I would come back to her for another day just to see her smile.


This is a way to vent my feelings. Comment if you want to.

 

1. Chicks are nuts, and she obviously doesn't want a future with you. The faster you grasp this, the better off you'll be.

2. Bugging her isn't helping. Ignore the skank and have fun with your friends before you ship out.

3. Odds are by the time your back she'll be knocked up and married to some trailer trash wife beating moron. Your better of without her as you're too good for her.

Dude, if she's acting like this now...you leave for 3 months let alone 3 years and she's gone. Forget about her. Wait for the right one to come along. Look at it as keeping your options open man...don't sweat it over some chick that has obviously moved on.
