People use this forum as a place to live an alternate reality & basically "socialize". With that in mind, I posted a few photos of my wife's new GTI last summer. I was flamed like you wouldn't believe. One person went so far as to say I'm a traitor to my country becuase I purchased a foreign car. I've only ever seen this kind of stupidity from Ford owners. Is it a slander for me to say that? Possibly. About the only product I consistently & deliberatly give people crap over is HD. Their products sucks huge & I question the intellect of anyone who would buy them.
I know I hate my truck & I know I will be trading it in soon, Sep at the latest. For those reasons, I very rarely post in the actual technical parts of this board. Other than questions about tires or maybe my Century cap, I really don't have anything constructive to add. Like I said, when I do trade the F150 in, you can rest assured I will disappear from this site instantly.
& Yes, your sig is pretty cool. If it was mine, I would give one of the squirrels a machine gun.

My Ford jump-starts my Chevy every time (I should drive my Chevy more often...) I love my F150, and S-10 equally, but I've thought more about selling my F150 in the past 1.25 years than I've ever thought about selling my Chevy for 14 years. My F-150 is FAR more comfortable, but it hasn't proven it's reliability like my Chevy (...so far so good for the Ford).
Heres my take. We buy what we buy because we like it or we have had good experiences with a certain make or model. Heres my experience. I have driven many different work trucks. These trucks were loaded with 1700+lbs of darkroom and equipment very top heavy. I started with 85 F250s, 80 something rams, and 80 something to 93 GMC and Chevys I have driven both 2x4 and 4x4. The chevys ran smooth and had the best ride and fuel economy but when you turned a corner it would literally feel like you were gonna fall out the window. I had a brand new 91 gmc 4x4 that I took on a pipeline job. I was on the job for 4 days. When I finished the back tires were almost 8" out of line with the front. It did perform well. But my truck of choice for pipelines was an 85 ford f250 4x4 deisel this thing was a beast in the mud and there was not much i could do to tear this thing up. The dodge rams that I have driven had good power but all had some sort of suspension problems. I had one 91 ram that the right front spring collasped from the weight. I fixed this by having 1 ton deisel springs installed on the front and then it was good but road like a buck board. As far as the ford trucks I have driven they have ranged from the 300 ci straight 6, up to 460 ci. The fords ride was always rough, the gas mileage sucks but I always felt comfortable in the fact that I could trust them to handle anything I threw at it and have them get me home. I dont have anything to compare the newer brand trucks to but as far as newer chevys, rams is this. The rams to me seem to have tranny problems or rearend problems that are common as well as poor fuel economy. Chevys ride smooth and have a tendancy to get better fuel economy but they do not have as much room in the cab as the other two. I own a 2001 Tahoe and compared to my 99 Expy it has next to nothing in power but I bought it for the fuel economy (company truck). My dad is a die hard ford fan but he recently traded in his 6L f250deisel crew cab 4x4 on a new chevy 4x4 deisel crew cab. He likes the Chevy much better than the Ford. He says it pulls his race truck much better but it has nowhere near the room in the cab that the f250 has and is not near as confortable for long distance driving. Me well I am still a ford fan and will stay that way until proven different. I have 289k miles on my Expy with very little maint.
All vehicles have their own little problems and we all make our decisions on what we want even with these little problems. But to say that one make is better than another just because of the make is silly in my oppinion. You get what you want and that is the bottom line.

LOL.
in all honesty i dont think its because we are scared of the tundra that we get hostile on here.
its because bandwagon pieces of **** on this forum drive us to going insane by acting like ford is doomed, our truck is 4 ****in years old!
in all honesty i love the new silverados and sierras. when i checked them out in person i thought they were very nice. i just enjoy the look of the ford and the interior of the ford better.
but chevy did much better this year with their trucks. maybe they coulda made the fenders stick out a little less.
but when i went to check out the tundra in person, i honestly thought it was a piece of ****, and my dad did too.
that enormous front bumper shows they tried with all their little asian might that they wanted to pretend they were one of the big 3.
the interior was **** and the truck looked like they tried so hard making it beefy they went too far.
the thing just looks fat ( in a bad way ) as hell and just big and sloppy.

My favorite squirrel is the one under the tail light on the rope
I'll add another vote for vacillating between wishing I had the S10 SCAB still and being really happy that I have the roomy cab, power and bigger bed of the '99 F150 SCAB.
MAN! I could park that S10 ANYWHERE!! Parking that Ford is one big fat biotch pain in my keister! Even a manly place like Home Depot doesn't have parking spaces and lanes big enough to park on the first try. Of course if all those retards who drive trucks but don't need them and the other mental giants who just flat can't drive/park weren't making a cluster @#$& out of the parking lot things would be MUCH easier!
Before I get flamed... Keep in mind that I drive fire trucks for a living so I know how to manuever a vehicle.
I also vote for a fastgun totin' squirrel mrsquirrel. A Para-SAW would be easier for their short little limbs to operate!
Can we assume that you contacted PETA before subjecting said squirrels (& chipmunk!) to your photo session? I'd hate to think that you were in violation of animal labor laws!
