Is there a box spring in there?
In my best "where's the beef" lady voice.... "Where's the mattress?"
Mattress looks a little thin IMO, looks like a cot with sleigh bed head and foot boards.

Well if it's good enough to post of, then tells us about it....

Not my bed -

Just a pic of a BED.

Worked all night about 24 hours straight . . .

and all I could think about was sleep by the time we wrapped. . . hence the pic of the bed and the word FINALLY.

And I got a whopping FOUR HOURS sleep!

And now it's time to do paperwork.

(I'm hating this work thing.)

Can't wait to sleep again tonight.

This man goes from a lay-around-the-house, go golf, travel, repeat but to a workaholic.

Is there no balance with you?

Nope.

Actually, wouldn't a workaholic be someone who works endlessly by choice, or rather needs to (on some emotional level) ?

While I took the job willingly, I'm not pleased with the 24/7 BS (and now I remember why I got out of this business in the first place . . . it has all come back to me).

It's interesting, and I have to imagine that it is like this in just about every business . . . everything is an emergency, everything is life and death, and (especially among those who are successful), it's the most improtant thing on the whole friggin' planet . . . strike that . . . in the entire friggin' universe!!!!!

I mean, seriously, does anyone else experience this state in their own line of work? Does everyone?

Seriously . . . NOTHING is that important. None of it (unless you're an EMS worker) is life and death! This overwhelming sense of importance is just ridiculous!

I've got to get a life. Move to some small hick town where the most amazing thing that happens is that a cow or chicken farts.

God . . . I need some more sleep. Or maybe some coffee.

Uh . . . in answer to your question, no . . . it's a life of extremes. Go figure.

I understand what you mean.

Everything is a crisis. People come running into my office screaming the "Internet is down, what are we going to do "

"HOLY CRAP THE WHOLE INTERNET! Well I'm going home then."

Sometimes they calm down sometimes they just don't get it.

I understand deadlines and important issues but at the end of the day I've got a wife and kids that I'm going home to and worrying about work isn't going to be an issue for me.

Guess I'll never be a huge success in the workplace.

Yep I have noticed the un needed urgency and implied importance in every field I've been in.

Here it is 1:52 sunday morning and I just now got home from work, my work week is done until 5 am monday mroning. 27 hours to rest... yea right I am to far behind..... so 27 hours to attempt to get caught up on a side job to meet teh monday deadline, clean and finish mowing the yard, wotk on my cmaper project so we can use it memorial weekend (we alread have a place reserved and cant get our money back if it's not finished) and also in that 27 hours I'd like to spend some time with the family......
