One friend of mine had a '78. That truck was amazing, we couldnt get it stuck or break anything no matter how badly we beat on it. It was ugly, hell everything from the door handles down was undercoating, but it sure was beautiful at the same time. He still regrets selling it.

Thats like my old Jeep Cherokee, nothing worked, it barely ran, leaked more oil than the Exxon Valdez, (in fact that was it's nickname "The Exxon Valdez"), but it also burned oil too. But that thing... I only stuck it once and it took me stoppiing in 4' of mud, literally up to the bottom of the rear side windows, while in 2wd and the linkage poped out so couldn't get it in 4wd. I miss that hunk of junk and regret letting it go.

That was the amazing thing about that truck, everything but the A/C worked (and no one really cared about that anyways) had no leaks, ran great and didnt burn a drop of oil. Only thing we ever had to fix on that thing was the rear window switch when he bought it.
