I read some testimonials where they said they drove some trucks back that suffered multiple direct hits from IEDs, bullet holes into the engine bay, cut hoses etc, and they still made it home safely

They even get the PSD, huh? Lucky!

Not so sure I would want the 6ohoh in a situation where my life leterally depended on it getting me home. Mine has been good so far (knock on wood), but many of them aren't.

i think blackwater uses them and they load them up with thick steel plates on the sides and in the bed to protect their machine gunner, they have shown pictures of some that got blown apart (like tires are gone and holes in the engine compartment) and they still got home, 60 minutes did something on them and they rode in three F-350s with gun magazines in the door holder thing

i have also seen israel use them in that dispute with lebenon

Agreed.

Notice that they are all 2WD. Guess it's not that important after all... And they say that 2WD trucks aren't truly trucks....

I gotta show my friends this.

Here's a pic of one from the area where I'm at. It got hit by an IED. It was sittin at an Iraqi Police compound that we were at for the day.

This one is of an European Ranger that I had while I was in Afghanistan in 05. Its a four door, four wheel drive, four cylinder diesel, five speed manual.
