Anyone Ever gamble online?

Just curious.

I put some money onto PokerStarz a long time ago and have never taken my initinal investment off. I usually play poker for real cash on there.. always with profits.

I recently tried Bodog casino.. with mixed results.

I opened an account with Bodog and put $20 on it.. only casino play. I didn't like Bodog Poker. I cashed out and requested a check for $235. I don't plan on putting any more money on there because that was a fluke. There is no way anyone can win profits more than once on an online casino.

Anyone else gamble online? Poker or casinos?

I may be wrong, but didn't congress pass a law a few months ago making it illegal (well, officialy) to gamble online anymore? I believe the CC companies won't process payments to such sites now?
I could be wrong, just think I remember that for some reason..

For me there are just so many better ways to spend my money than gambling.

Whenever I go to Las Vegas for a tradeshow, I drop my obligatory $10.00 worth of quarters into the slot machines. Then after 20 minutes, when all my quarters are gone, I walk around town the rest of the weekend and think to myself that "there was $10.00 that could have gone into my Mustang Fund instead"......

The law actually outlawed banks from dealing with those sites. It basically shut down the industry. I bet the World Series has fewer participants this year, a crap load fewer.

I did until they passed the law. Cased out several $100 from a $50 investment. (and some freebie rebuys from the company)

The law makes it illegal for money transfers between US banks (credit cards included) and online gambling institutions. I used to play quite a bit, but now its become difficult. I too played poker, bought in for $100, made a couple truck payments and then the bill passed. I still have some money in my account, I just don't know how I can get it out. They'll send a check, but I'm not sure if I can cash it in a US bank.
