I am headed there tomorrow for about 2 weeks. I have done the Hawaii thing 4 times, so I am looking forward to a trip out there with a little less of the 'touristy' Hawaii feel.

 

Yep...take the donkey ride down to the leper colony...or you can walk..

I read about that, and I am pretty sure we'll end up doing it. Did you by chance play any golf while you were there? I know there are a lot of beaches, did you find a cool spot?

Oahu or Kauai are better. It's been 12 years since I've been there (Molokai) so I don't really remember any of the hotspots, we just took a day trip there from Oahu..

Spent quite a bit if time there when based at MCBH in my previous life...had a classmate who was from there, and we'd go hang at his parent's house when ever we could. Enjoy yourself.

Stay away from the call girls down at the leper colony, though...

I asked one one time how things were, she said she was doing fine until her "business fell off"...
