Matter of fact, do any of you have septic tanks at your house? Need I go on for you to get it? I dont agree that businesses should dump raw sewage into streams but thats NOT what we are talking about here. Dumping spent liquids is illegal! We are clearly talking about combustion spent gasses, there is a clear difference between gas and liquid states, if you dont know that then go back to school.

My point with the Gingrich thing is this ISN'T a Liberal Tree Hugger issue any more. The Data is In and it's being accepted by Dem's, Republican's, and even Right Wing Neo-Con's like Gingrich.
The Concern is not Present levels of emmissions, but the Rate that these emmissions are Increasing Year after year. If these rates continue, we'll be putting out 10 Times what we're putting out now by 2020. The atmosphere isn't getting any Bigger.
This is why people are seeing this "Urgency".
Personally, I don't care if the 300hp my truck has comes from Gasoline or Cow ****, as long as it's there...

Global warming reared it's ugly head when Bush made it grow Katrina to take out the poor in New Orleans. It was supposed to be the cause of the terrible hurricane season last year but Bush forgot to feed the foul weather machine. Now global warming is causing tornados in the mid west. It's caused snow in Texas in April and is currently causing the spring Nor' Easter that's about to hit the north east. In addition, my toast burnt this morning and I'm pretty certian it's because of global warming.
There is a consensus. There is a direct link between burnt toast and global warming. Thousands of scientist agree that human influence is the cause of burnt toast.
I'm glad Algore has championed this cause. I don't like burnt toast.
Speaking of Algore, anyone else get one of these Carbon Credit card offers in the mail?

I would have to agree with Hibbs. Humans contribute to global warming. Just like a radiant heater contributes to warming a room. EVERYTHING we do causes heat, including sitting in a room converting O2 into CO2. My solution is the most cost effective one around. Kill the humans. There will be less activity to cause the temperature to go up. There will be less "radiant heaters" sitting around exchanging O2. There will be fewer heaters warming our houses. Where do you think all of the heat generated during our time goes? It dissipates into the atmosphere. Meaning it warms the air around it.
Gore's idea of selling "carbon credit" is crap at best. He states he lives carbon neutral because he invests in carbon negative ventures that off set his carbon usage. So he feels good that he is not causing the problem. Here's a thought, downsize your house to a normal size, like the majority of American, then you'll be carbon negative and actually be doing something.
