Hey Wittom!

I don't have enough posts to PM you yet---but i wanted to thank you forthe advice you gave me a while back on the problems that I was having with my slight case of waterhammer. I took a look at the pipes, and sure enough, some of the fasteners ha worked loose---redoing the straps and new screws has taken care of the problem.

Glad I was able to help.

I like to start with the easy (cheap) things first.

Sometimes a problem can seem huge but turns out to be easy to fix. I've been plumbing for years now but when I have a vehicle problem I assume that it's a major issue. It also usually truns out to be something simple.

I went out for a 20 mile ride Monday---but now we have four inches of snow---no cycling for a while---some guy rode by my house today on his road bike in a snow squall... I hope you have plenty of time to enjoy your mountain bike this year.

I hope to get some riding in. I'm pretty focused on getting some good hikes in this year. I haven't been in shape as I'd like for the past couple years. My girl and I have both had some aches and pains that have slowed us down a bit. We're both doing better this year.

I've got to get the bike out of the basement and see if I can still ride it. Shouldn't be long if we don't get hit with a snow storm this week.
