As it should be since I was born and raised in Texas. I was always told anyone that lived North of Dallas was a yankee. Funny thing is now that I live in Canada everyone here calls me a Yankee. I don't take it lightly and let them know the difference right away.

Most yankee so far, 21% Dixie. Back when I used to Civil War reenact (Captain in the Union army), I tried "cross-dressing" (wearing gray) a couple times. Couldn't much cotton to (Southernism) being a Reb...

Of course, when I ask for the bubbler (water fountain) most people know I ain't from down there!
