Ford Fairlane Concept, aka FLEX Gets GREEN

Ford has officially announced the green light for the new Ford Flex crossover. It will basically replace the minivan, but will a lot of additional style and exclusive features (Hey, it's a Ford, of course it's innovative!)

Some impressive features include:

Nice, should be showing up in showrooms THIS summer, not '08.

And when the %*#(@ are they going to announce they will make the Lincoln MKR for showrooms in '08?!!! Grrrr...

Looks good. Even though it is boxy like some of the others, it does have some decent styling.

Looks almost exactly like a Land Rover. But why the Fairlane name?? I would think Fairlane would be a car??

It's not the Fairlane, it's called the Flex.

I wish Ford had built the CAR that originally wore the name "FL3X"

That was a sweet little car- would have been competition for the Solstice, not that there really needs to be competition for the Solstice. But, from what I hear, they're flying off the lots as fast as they arrive. Not sure how much they are helping GM. (I like the Saturn version better anyway).
