New to the forum from New Zealand.

Hey all,
I can see this site being a good help to me.
I didn't know where to introduce myself.

I live in a small city called Gisborne. Population of 40,000. We are the first city in the world to see the sun. It is situated in the North Island and is on the eastern side. Well course it is thats where the sun rises first.

I am currently waitin on my truck to be shipped from Iowa to L.A. Then it takes a two week trip across the ocean to land in Auckland, New Zealand.
Where it will converted to right hand drive to make it legal for N.Z roads.

I'll get some pics up.

Better head to work

Look forward to talking to you all

Ben

welcome.

At work, we've been sending alot of used caterpillar equipment over to New Zealand. It must be pretty cost effective to ship over there.

converting it must be a big job. take some pics of the work being done if you can. i think it would be interesting to see how they do it.

I've been seeing alot of great and wild projects of all sorts come from New Zealand lately!!!!

I've met more people form new zealand online in the last few months than I have any other one place outside the borders of the USA over my entire life time....

So did New Zealand just get internet or something?

The truck is being converted buy Walton Special Vehicle. Hopefully I will have daily/weekly updates emailed of what is being done to the truck during it conversion. So i will try and get as many pics up as I can.
Walton's is 6 hours drive from where I live so I can't just pop in every day to have a look.
I have a few things planned for it but mainly just cosmetic as this stage.
The truck has only done 11500 miles. So I'm hoping its still really fresh feeling.

Here is a pic of her in Iowa. She leaves for L.A tomorrow.

Lol. We've had the internet for just aslong as you guys.
Hey to you all thanks for the welcome.
Buy the way what does FNG stand for?

Ben
