Well lahdee freakin' da. Post a thread when you beat UCLA's 9 out of 10 year winning streak. Now that's news. Becoming the 7th team to win back to back is a snoozer.

Hmm, but has anyone ever had a NCAA and than BCS win back to back? Nope, none the less not a NCAA, BCS, and another NCAA back to back.

Didn't the UConn women and men's basketball teams win Championships the same year? I thought that was impressive.

Florida didn't exactly sneak in there. Those boys have been pretty tough since around 1999/2000.

I meant to watch, but I tell you- I haven't sat and watched a championship game since UConn spanked Duke for the national championship.

That made me VERY happy, because 1. I can't STAND Duke, and 2. Brand & the Duke Crew were acting all "chocky", looking very confident in thier locker room. They flipped over to UConn's locker room and those boys were loose, jumping around firing themselves up singing "Ruff Ryder's Anthem: DMX"

I told my wife right then and there... UConn's gonna win this game... She was how do you know that? I said, those boys are underdogs, and they're loose and fired up. Duke is heavily favored, but they seem a bit over confident to me... I'll bet on desperate and hungry, with nothing to lose- over chocky & confident any day.

Congrats Florida!

From a 23-year long Tarheel fan.

My Favorites:

Basketball: UNC Tarheels (I used to love St. John's (Redmen) & Georgia Tech too, back in the Mark Price Days)

Women's Basketball: Louisiana Tech's Lady Techsters & , Tennesse's Lady Volunteers

Football: LSU, UT, Miami Hurricanes

Baseball: Don't care, but glad LSU is good in that area too.

Are there any other sports?

UCLA not only won 9 of 10 but 7 in a row.

2...nice but nothing amazing.

BCS....computer created champs don't impress me (regardless of the school)

Boring game too...wasn't really competitive.

If Donovan does indeed go to Kentucky, I hope he wins the first 20 games and than lose in the NCCA tournament and they ship him to Michigan. . oh wait, Kentucky already did that.

I'm sorry but if he does go, he's an idiot. We kept him since 96' and he didn't do squat for us until lately. .

Come again? If you're talking about "ten loss Tubby", he went to the Golden Gophers (Minnesota), not Michigan.

Tubby did about as well as anyone could riding someone else's team and coat tails to an NCAA championship in his first year... then he rode a virtual basketball dynasty right into the crapper.

Good riddance to someone that well overstayed their welcome, I say.

I guess we'll know in the next few days one way or the other on Donovan. You have to admit that going to a school that sells out a practice in less than an hour is a pretty good draw over a school that struggles to sell out a half dozen games a year.

Yes, you're right. My mistake, I meant Minnesota. Regardless. Whether or not we sell out our stadium, that should not matter to the coach. Florida is more of a football school anyways.
