Working at the Fish Farm (LARGE pics warning)
Working at the Fish Farm (LARGE pics warning)
So, I spent a few days cleaning up my boss's fish farm over my spring break. 200 acres on the Gasconade River, with a 10 - 15 million gallon a day natural spring on the property. And while cleaning up downed trees, we found another spring on the property. It's a beautiful piece of property...
On the drive up to the property there is a 3500' roughed in landing strip, about 4000' in total distance. Don't mind the bugs on my windshield...

On the way out, same place.

Then there's the lodge up on the hill, built in 1913, burned down in the mid 70s by a farmer who was tired of caring for it. We're told it was really an awesome place back in the day.
Driving up to the lodge

The last one is now my background pic...

Up by the lodge there was this old house...and in the old house, I found this

Which I'm trying to get for free/close to free as a small project. Any ideas as to what year it is?

At the end of the spring's stream, there's this dam for the fish farm...

And another random truck picture:

I didn't get any pics or videos of me working with the truck, but lets just say that low range 4x4 and a big *** chain, no tree stood a chance. Anyways, the property is for sale...who wants it?
I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had the cash...

Sweet dude I hope you get that truck that would be awesome, if you do and need help loading it let me know.
BTW that appears to be either a 1949 or a 1950.
No difference between those two years except shock absorbers, which I am sure have been changed at some point anyway.
