the WTC was a large complex of buildings, 1 & 2 were the Twin Towers, the rest smaller buildings. WTC 7 was, I believe, a 40 story building across the street from 1 & 2. WTC 7 is a very interesting story.

just to clarify, I never had any use for Donald Trump until he started rankin' on Rosie O'Fat.. smack at the highest level

Yet another celebrity that doesn't know anything about what they are talking about. Is The View a call-in show? A high school dropout can spend five minutes in an ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codebook with an engineer and understand what happens when structural steel gets hot.

Odins wrath's quote where the typical wood fire does not generate enough heat to melt steel is correct. As steel heats up it loose's it's tensile strength and as it become hotter it becomes weeker until structural failure ( collapse).
Coaking coal because of it's intrained air bubbles through out it's mass burns with extreme heat melting steel just like a cutting torch would with the added oxygen.

Rosie is just another foul mouth peice that does need to think before she opens her yap.

edited to add.

a wood suport beam that has the same load capacity of a steel one would last longer in the same fire, hence the fire proof coating on steel beam structures.

Other than that, how do you really feel?

Thinking about that, can you imagine the grease fire that she would be?

It's just rapid oxidation. Melting steel is physically impossible. Rosie said it.
