Just wanted to check in.I want to thank everyone who has contributed on this site ...It is a Wealth of information, and I have used it often. I have just traded in my old 97XLT for a King Ranch Crew cab.Its a very nice truck,and eveyone seems to like it. Me and my 8 year old already nicknamed it...Bohiemith. Anyway I was wondering about leveling up the front end.I was told by someone who has His leveled, that gas mpg has increased.Has anyone had in increase in mpg after level install?

welcome to the site man! sounds like a great truck- for technical q's come on up to the 04+ forum- for everything else, stay down here in the party---
as for the leveling kit, naw, you aren't going to see an increase in mpg due to it... search for 'autospring' 'leveling kit' 'daystar' and you will have more to read than you imagined possible

Thanks for the warm welcome!.....So if leveling the front up doesnt increase the mpgs, that 3 hours spent on waxing wont make her "cut through the wind "any better either?(
Old joke)...The fellow who told me about the level increase is in my opinion a little "flexable" with the truth.He's so dang likable .Just cant believe a word he says! Do any of you have an opinion on what could be done to make this truck look a little better?It is the full 4 door crew cab.It is dark stone grey.It has poeblo tan around the bottom, making the truck look very Military.Basically looks green/grey with kaki.Kinda army.It is a lease , so repaint is not an option.But a pinstripe is not a problem...just cant "viguilize" what color or where to put it. Maybe a copper color up high under the widows.Or black at the bottom separating the accent color. Any suggestions?In case anyone is thinking about buying or leasing in Mich, You have to check out Milne ford in Macomb county.They have Harleys, Salleens and I think even some Roushes.They had this Ranch in stock!I wont tell you what I am Paying but lets say other dealers wanted a lot more money for a lot less truck.
