Battlestar Galactica

Is anyone still watching Battlestar Galactica? I've missed an episode here or there but I'm still on the ball.

What do you think about the way things have been going? The death (or not) of Starbuck? The identity of the 5 mystery cylon models? The fact that there are no more episodes until 2008?

I understand it is not easy to do season after season on the same concept but they're really going out there. Especially with the closing of this season's finale.

Yeah, I've missed a lot of episodes, mainly because Sci-Fi won't leave the s**t where it can easily be found... Remember when it was on Friday's after Stargate SG-1 & Stargate: Atlantis? Now you have to throw a search-party to find BSG.

Not only that, but everytime I see an episode, the next thing I hear is, "Tune in next week for the season finale of Battlestar Galactica."

DAYUM! For a show that's only been on about 2.5 - 3 years, they've had bout 5 season finales...

I've lost track, but here's what I know:
  • Somehow got Baltar back in their custody
  • A Six model is helping them now, in addition to Sharon,
  • Baltar is probably a Cylon too,
  • Battlestar Pegasus was destroyed
  • Rosalyn is the President again, and her cancer has returned,
  • Apollo turned in his wings- p!ssed with his Daddy,
  • Dee left Apollo,
  • Apollo is in love with Starbuck,
  • I haven't seen Starbuck on the last 1 - 2 episodes I've seen,
  • Colonel Tigh lost an eye (hey, that rhymes).
  • The Colonel killed his own wife, even though her conspiracy (getting tapped, righteously & regularly) with the Cylons was to keep them from killing him.
  • The Colonel and the President's aide are hearign mechanical & electrical sounds in their heads. Since you mention there are 5 "mystery" Cylon models,

I'm thinking Tigh, the aide, and Starbuck's boyfriend may be three of those mystery models.

They have got to be running out of ideas, because even though I've picked up this much, the writing and the story lines appear to be getting razor thin...

They've done good to get this far, the original series only lasted about 20 episodes, so the new writers don't have a lot of base material to spin off from.

Well Starbuck Died. At least for the time being

And 5 major players on the show have come to the conclusion that they are also Cylons. To many for my taste.

Yeah, I don't understand the Starbuck thing. I keep waiting for UHD to re-run the episode where the Pegasus was destroyed, but they won't. I am interested to see if the Cylons are going to catch up with them by season's end.

I can say with pride I don't know what a 1701-E is... however, let's be honest. Star Wars was cool enough to be one of, if not the biggest main stream box office hits in history... Star Trek always has, and always will be something you don't want to tell your friends or people you just met about

Or the NCC-1701-D, for that matter...

The only thing they have that would have a chance, is the Death Star. A few well-placed photon torpedoes, and they could cancel Christmas too.
