They're advertising a lot of camping right there at the festivle, but thats not for me... Especially if its gonna be 90 degrees.
I worked in hotel business for over 12 years. They will only give you trouble if they think you will trash the room. if you act mature they will not give you any trouble. you can get a room even if you are under 18 and you know somebody. most places lets you stay if you are 18 or older some places you have to be 21. But again, hotels want to fill their rooms, if i was at the desk and you come to me like everbody else i would give you a room. They just want to make money.

I always get room service when I stay at Casino Windsor. 'Cept I dont think Econo-Lodge has that.
A lot of the low cost motels, like Motel 6, have become more strict about young occupants; because, high school kids and college students pick them for wild parties. There are some of them that won't let you in under the age of 25, without a credit card for deposit.
Indeed, hotel rental policy is set by the individual hotel or chain, not by the state. In general, you cannot enter into a legal agreement (which is, essentially, what a hotel rental agreement is) under the age of 18, hence the reason most chains will not rent to a minor.
As mentioned, don't act like a putz at check-in, be courteous, and use a credit card, and you won't have any problems.
FWIW, I rented hotels as young as 19 a few times... Was on vacation in Norfolk VA once, and Boston another time. Since turning 21, it hasn't been any more or less of an issue. Just about any place is happy to take your money!

Well, i called the Hotel and she said I only had to be 18 to reserve/check in. But I had to call 1-800-4-choice to make reservations. So I did and used my credit card for late check in. 2 rooms at $69.99 each plus 13% tax!!
Someone left a review of the place and it wasnt good.:o

But if for some reason they dont let me check in, my buddy can take care of it right even though reservations are in my name?
