Atv question

I have a question. I have a 92 Big Bear 350. When it runs its a beast but it always has problems starting up. Usually its just the battery is dead or something like that. Anyway the back tires are not quite bald but the ***** are worn pretty good. I was wondering if the atv tires at like walmary or rural king were any good? I don't need a real fancy tire since it is a 92. I want to get a new atv BUT I just bought a truck and sold my other truck( so I am paid up untill like 2008). I was wanting to save up and put rims, tires, and a lift on my truck. It would be mostly appearence and maybe a little off road. But after going riding today it makes me want to get a new four wheeler. So what do you think I should do? I also have considered now just buy some tires and wheels and forget the lift and use that money toward a new atv.

Get a set of Wal-Mart tires and new battery for the 92, then go buy you a new atv!

Then you have a backup atv just incase anything happened to the new one, and you have an extra incase you have a friend over that wants to ride too.

If you buy another atv, get a sport ATV! (unless the terrain you ride is really ruff) I use to ride big 4x4 quads and mud but man! there is nothing like a sport quad for fun

Yea I'm going to take a sport quad mudding? Besides the newer atvs are pretty fast themselves. Yea but I want my truck to look good too but I want a new four wheeler (brute or grizzly?). I probably wont buy brand new but probably an 04. I saw an 04 prarie 700 for 3,999 in the trade magazine today. I thought that wasn't bad except my friends have praries.

Get the 4 wheeler. I am sure that your truck looks just fine the way it is and you will probably get more use out of the 4 wheeler than you would a lift kit and tires.

Yea, get the 4x4. My Brute has no trouble dusting sport quads. It may not corner with the sport quads, but it smokes them in a line and still will make it through a mud pit all while playing my cds in the cd player and hold my beer in the built in cup holder.

Yea I know my buddies prarie does a wheelie no problem. I can get the old big bear to do a wheelie but I have to put it in neutral and rev it up then pop it in first gear...lol. It just pops the front end up.

I would like to see a Brute beat a sport quad. My raptor plays with supercharged cobra mustangs in the 1/8th with only $800 of performance mods on it. (0-60 in 6 seconds)

I can gladly show you if you ever come through East Kentucky. Although mine has a little more than $800 in work done to it.

Are you serious? A brute has so much power on take off you can't keep the front end down. A brute force is nuts. I think If I can talk my mom into it I will buy a new fourwheeler. We are going riding agian today. If we get to where we go every weekend I will buy a newer fourwheeler. I really want a Grizzly but I really want a brute. But the important thing is the price. I want to only pay like 4-5 g's. I don't want to pay very much for one. What fourwheeler should I target? I want a mud slinger but one in my price range. I'll probably put either mudzillas, mud hogs, or mud lites on once I get it. I was thinking about that prarie and man 4 grand for a prarie 700 seems like a good deal. I also saw a 04 grizzly with winch,k&n fliter, skid plates for $5,500 obo. My mom is making me still make payments on my truck even though I am paid until 2008. I swear she just likes ruining my plans. I won't get my parents to buy a new one so I will have to buy it. Heck I have to buy everything anymore. Its going to be hard to save up but I am going to try. I have about $1,000 in the bank.

A raptor will rape a brute off the line. Even though it wheelies in the first 4 gears it will still get off the line. I have riden a friends brute and I can say, no utility atv can hang with a sport quad. The only one that comes close is the outlander 800 but even it can't hang

Well it still all comes down to what you like the most. I like riding my sons PW50 too. Just as long as you are having fun.
