Also stay away from Ken's Gold Club. Stay away from anything with the word gold.I haven't been there in a while, but I always have fun when I go. That's the Southern most point for White Castle.
I like TN alot. I've been there 6 or 7 times. On my next pilgramage to the best motorcycle roads in the East, I'm staying in Gatlinburg or Pidgeon Forge.
1.5 hours East of Nashville are the best roads East of the Mississippi in the country. RT 129 The Dragon, The Blue Ridge PW, The Cherohala Scenic Skyway, The Foothills Parkway, RT 28 The Hellbender, The Great Smoky Mountains PW, etc...
Numerous National & State parks, great BBQ, friendly people good weather, there really isn't much to NOT like about TN. It's in the top 5 places I have on my list that I want to retire too. If I do move to TN, I will unfortunately have to live around Memphis. That would be because FedEx hired me & that's where their HQ is.

There are alot of good bars/clubs downtown and plenty of good concerts to go to. You got a couple NFL games to go to in the Fall and if you like hockey you can go catch the Predators play. Priest lake is only about 10 minutes away from downtown Nashville on 40 East, and then you got Opry Mills mall which is pretty nice.
Nashville isn't too bad. It has its ups and downs. I live in East Tennessee and locals cannot stand Nashville. The state of Tennessee differs from west to east.

I Live just outside of Nashville its a pretty cool area see if you like music then you have a good time. Plusyou have a few Civil war sites near the area to see. The smokey Moutains are only a couple hours away for a good weekend getaway.
Our corporate office is in Nashville and I have enjoyed the city everytime I head there for meetings. A tad sleepy, but what do you expect for a city of that size? Of course, if you like country music you'll be in Hog Heaven.....
Also, Eastern and Central Tennessee are some of the most aesthetically beautiful parts of the country -- nice mixture of hills and trees!
