Ford Incentives???

I ordered a 2007 FX4 Supercrew with the 6.5 ft bed yesterday but my only concern is that by the time I take delivery of it in 6-8 weeks, the 0% financing for 60 months will be long gone.

The sales manager at the dealership said he really thinks that they will extend it but all the Ford incentives are based on the delivery date of the truck, not the order date. So basically, if the incentives are not there, or less, then I am screwed - but then again, they could also get better.

Anyone have any inside info or know what Ford will have for incentives on the F-150 Supercrews in Late April/May???

Thanks.

I hope somebody on here has the answer to your question. My 07 is suppose to arrived the last week of March to the beginning of April. The 0% is going till 4/2/07. I was hoping more rebates would come out.

Chill guys -- with gas prices already starting to ramp up for summer driving season there's not going to be a mad rush to purchase trucks that get 13 mpg! There will certainly be similar, if not better, promotions to follow the ones that will expire on the 2nd.....

I'm in the same boat, but my truck is supposed to be delivered next Monday, 4/2/07. I hope to be able to take advantage of the situation if the rebates are increased. On the flip side - I hope it comes whan it's supposed too!

I talked to my salesman yesterday and he said that they will not find out until Tuesday (04/03/07) when the new ones are released.

I called the VOPC today and spoke to an "analyst" who stated that Ford has placed a "hold" on most F-150's (namely mine) leaving the Kansas City plant. She was not able to tell me why, but I am guessing that it is because they want to wait till after the current rebates / incentives run out to eliminate as much CURRENT dealer stock.

Word has it that GM is going to be reducing their rebates on the Silverado for the summer months due to multiple plant suspensions around the holidays which is going to drastically reduce dealer stock. I think Ford might be following suite like they always do to each other.

I went to 2 Ford dealers today and between them both I think I saw 6 2007 F-150's for sale and these are both good sized dealers. Not sure how they plan on selling trucks when customers can't see or drive them. Guess they produced too many stx's and xlt's.

Yikes. What does that mean for you (and me)? That Ford is deliberately giving us the shaft as far as rebates go? Also, that must mean additional rebates will not immediately start up (4/3/07)?

Around here some dealers have very little stock and others have what I would call a good selection of trucks.

I went to my dealer after I made this post. They are going to submit my paperwork to Ford as if it is already bought and sold. So I'm locked in for the current rebates / incentives. That also means if they get better, I'm screwed, but I'm willing to take that risk. Plus I drove to an Autoshow to get an additional $500 off a F-150 that would have expired as well on 4-2-07.

OK, I spoke with the dealership today and they said that Ford is extending the current incentives. He said he is not 100% sure for how long but he believes for another month.

Ford

Can anyone confirm this?
