Waverunner help

i am thinking about buying a wave runner or maybe 2 depending on the deal and need some help. I dont really know much about them as of yet so i have a few questions.

first about buying, if I were to buy 2 waverunners is the dealer more likley to give me a better deal? (more off the total price)

also, Yamaha or SeaDoo? I like the looks of the Yamaha better, the 2007 VX cruiser and the FX High Output. Now there are different HP amont ranging from 110 up to 215 with the seadoos. How much horepower would I need to pull a skier or wakeboarder pertty well? Any suggestions on what type and model would suit me best.

I want a 3 seater
good power range, for wakeboarding
good fuel capacity
would like it to match my truck!

any suggestions?

I'd imagine that you would get a better deal if you bought 2 of em at the same time

That VX110 Deluxe Yamaha would match your truck pretty well

I've got an 01 FX140 and you can wakeboard or tube behind it fine

2 seaters are alot more fun though, cause it sucks ridin with 3 people on one no matter if you're drivin, sittin in the middle or ridin on the back

i used to work at a jet ski rental and we ran both seadoo's and yamaha's. the yamaha's were more reliable. the seadoo's exhaust manifold studs broke on each ski. they seemed to be quicker than the yamaha's though.

Sea Donks will break down at least once every summer so id say yamaha. But Id personally look at polaris jet skis, they are very reliable and easier to maintain

I'd go with the Yamaha's.. I had a GP1200R and a XL1200 Ltd. that I loved.. I would however say to look used.. Those type of things are much more enjoyed when you don't have to worry about the first scratch or ding on it.. Especially since you are getting two of them you will have a friend ride who maybe doesn't understand they shouldn't run it up on the shoreline.. I never had a problem with either Yamaha.. Have fun!!
