Sorry about the size, no time for resizing.

East coasters can probably see it too but no full eclipse.

You can barely see the total eclipse on the picture so I am not uploading that one.
But it is cool, kinda orange glow on the moon.
It takes some time for the moon to appear again while the shadow of the earth is quite large.

It's 00:25 right now and the total eclipse is still there.

Thanks for watching.

You are welcome.

Yeah, it was cool.
I had never seen it, a fool moon disappearing.
I was a bit worried I wouldn't see it because it got clouded a bit but it turned out ok.

I will snap one last pic when the moon appears again.

Cool pics, but they're freaking huge!

Here in KC I was only able to see the last 95% or so of the cycle.

:Yaaaaawn: did something happen?

OHH DANG I MISSED IT???
Didn;t know it was suppose to happen......

The Serrano Indians of California believe an eclipse is the spirits of the dead trying to eat the Sun or Moon. So during an eclipse, the shamans and ceremonial assistants sing and dance to appease the dead spirits while everyone else shouts to try and scare the spirits away. Meanwhile, everyone avoids eating food with the idea that it would starve the spirits out.

I just got through stufing my face with Heartburn Hellllll'o, I mean Taco Bell. I hope everyone else starved themselfs and apparently it worked cause the dead spirits gave us our moon back!

Way to go guys!!! Sorry I didnt help.
