Well I finally got time over the weekend to work on the quad a bit more. I pretty much have everything finished now except for putting the last control arm on the left hand side. I didn't notice it until I tried to install it, but the control arm Kawasaki sent me is for the right side and not the left. They tried to get a Saturday delivery of the new arm for me but it didn't show up. It will be in tomorrow and then its just two bolts, one nut and throw the tire on and she will be ready to ride. Obviously I still need some cosmetics like a new rack for the front and a new headlight assembly. Other than that, it's completely rebuilt. I had the engine running over the weekend and threw the rearend up on some jacks to let the rear tires do some spinning. Everything worked flawlessly thus far so my hopes are high as to putting it all back together correctly. I'm gonna start drawing up some ideas for a new front bumper. I've recently learned how to do some welding so me and a buddy of mine are going to fabricate some beefy bumpers for the quads. Then, once some money frees up, I'm switching over to black plastics and I'll be getting some 28" tires.

Here's some lame pictures in case you wanted to see it

Well like I said the bumper will be the next big thing. The lift kit is already on (forgot to take pictures of it) but it's basically just two spacers that sit on top of the shocks in the front and an extension from the bottom of the shock to the swingarm to lift the rear. I'll get the new tires (28" Mudzillas) and black plastics come this summer and then maybe look into motor work??? I don't really know. It all depends on how my "toy budget" runs and what I can afford. I'm just pleased I can enjoy the thing again and in the fairly short time it took me to do the rebuild.
