power went out at 11 pm.
sump pump battery thats sposed to last for 60 hours lasted for 2.
didnt have a generator and the water got up to 3 ft in the basement before it got vacced out and the FD let us use a generator, lost a finished room, stuff in it, and a loc of christmas decorations
now we got a 5500watt troybuilt generator

Man I was soo ticked last night....
I was suppose to go look at a camper to buy, the people were out of town and told us to go look at it. I came home to get my genny to test out teh A/C, fridge etc.... and my Genny was GONE!!!!! chainsaws setting next to it, a craftsman tool box wit habout $5K in tools on the other side and a murray push mower behinfd it.... everything was there so I was like WTF steals a generator and not that other stuff.
Turns out my dad had came and borrowed it and forgot to tell me. I thought that was suppose to be my job ot do that to him.

WHOA!!!!
Your back feeding through the welder circuit?????
Ahh crap dude fix that ASAP and get a generator hook up on your pole. That is dangerous both while using it and it can weld your breaker open, giving you no protection if the welder fries later on.

We've had over a foot of snow since Sunday here
The hubby is running out of room to put it when he clears the driveway. Total for the season we figure is somewhere between 5-6 feet. I'm ready for spring!!
