F22's running Windows?

SU-27 Flanker
#4.) Wow...
I didn't think Russia had mass-produced the SU-37. Of course I know most of what they speak of on the Military Channel is watered down, but I didn't expect it to be that far off. (Russia having built only a handful of thrust vectoring, SU-37 Super-Flankers)
Of course the SU-27 Flanker (Physically identical to the SU-37, minus the thrust vectoring engines, and forward canards) has always been a match for the F-15, and actually beat most of the F-15's records including accelleration and time-to-altitude records set by the F-15 "Streak Eagle".
They even said the SU-37, in a dogfight, would be a match for the F-22. I guess this is true, if the fight ever got to "visual" range. But, since most of our dogfights will now be BVR, this is probably moot...
Then again, we thought that in Vietnam too, until the MiG's started splashing and crashing our F-4's...
This is information that's been stated on the Military Channel, however, no one (outside Lockheed and the AF) really knows what that F-22 is capable of, in terms of maneuvering. I just hope its better built that the F-117, which will tear itself apart if it tried to get jiggy with a few moves...

Found this:
Article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Su-37
The Su-37 can carry air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons on 12 stations. The number of missiles and bombs carried can be increased to 14 with the use of multi-payload racks. It carries a radar in the tailcone, allowing it to fire missles from the rear.
Russia has not ordered Su-37s, but it might find customers abroad, a market that now constitutes a sizable share of Sukhoi’s income. Several prototypes have been built, but the aircraft is not in production.
The most recent rumors regarding the development of the Su-37 is that the project was cancelled due to lack of funding. The two Su-37 prototypes were converted into Su-35 'Flanker-Es', another Sukhoi prototype fighter
Perhaps they had SU-27's? (Which are no joke either...)
PS: With Radar in the front, and back, that's one heck of a signal to track. But, without stealth, it's be damn-nea impossible to sneak up on one... If they were flying, and a threat.

Sorry; Ive had the "good fortune" to experience Vista at various customers during my workday. I for one sure wouldn't pay for the honor of being MS's Beta-tester on that shaky platform (but, then again I tried Windows Me for an hour and was convinced to avoid it). I'll stick with XP (both flavors) Svc Pack2.
