Anyone have any suggestions for a video editor that works with quicktime videos?

This is a really good one, and you can edit .mov (quicktime) files natively. No conversion needed to import them.

 

I would agree with the Sony software, but get the platinum edition. Little more expensive, but allows you to do more, including HD. I use it all the time for stuff I record to DVR, then to DVD-RAM, then load to my computer for editing and final DVD creation. I own Nero and Roxio EMC, but have uninstalled their video editing and DVD creation software in favor of the Sony. been using it for about 3 years.
