Well we are doing EXACTLY what these people wanted us to do. Supermodels, movie stars, sports players, etc. are in the business of drawing attention to themselves. If they don't get people reading about them or watching them on tv, then they won't make the money. All of those reading, talking, or watching the news and listening to what is going on within famous peoples' lives is just feeding in to exactly what you are saying we are sick of. You felt it necessary to start a thread over why youre sick of ANS, but that in-and-of-itself brings publicity to her making her more popular or more well known or more wealthy. No matter what type of publicity these people get, it all helps them gain their net worth. This type of discussion or publicity is exactly what these people want and unfortunately, we just got sucked into it.

 

What or who is ANS?
Nevermind I likely do not care, if I dont know by now then they have not affected my life in any way shape or form.

Yea I dont watch the news anymore, and I am 100x's happier for it. Ignorance is bliss.

Not to worry. A car bomb will go off in Iraq and the media will inundate us with images of a burned out car with hysterical people walking aimlessly around it. Or it might be the next non-binding resolution that the "new" congress decides to bring to distract the American people from the possability that we could actually come to a reasonable conclusion in Iraq.

The "real" news just isn't damning enough at this moment so they air this useless drivel, and a bunch of people eat it up.

 

Their stories are just the current flavors of the moment. Something will take over the assclown news hyjinks again soon enough I'm sure.
