Throat Lozenge/Cough Drop Trivia
I had an energy drink today with a flavor that reminded me of a mid to late 70’s cough drop or throat lozenge but I can’t recall the name.
They came in a long rectangular paper package that might have been white. They were red and Cherry-ish flavored. They actually tasted pretty good and some people would eat them like candy.
They were not Sucrets, Halls, Ludens, Smiths, Cloraceptic. I believe they may have initially started getting handed out by Doctors but then became widely available. I’ve been searching on the web but can’t come up with the name of the damn things!

I thought it might have been cepacol but it just does not seem right.
