Can I not download Firefox 2 without...

getting the Google toolbar? I don't want to just turn it off, I don't want it on my computer. I got a fresh install here... It runs so fast I didn't even really want to connect to the internet...

I havent done FF2 but ussualy during setup there is an option to install or not/// just uncheck that box.... if something happens and it does get on, then go to add remove programs and remove it.

Search the forum... many converts. Its just a browser. Should take you all of 10 minutes to install, learn, and master.

I'm a recent convert and I like it. Freindly interface, took me all of 2 days tuning here and there when I'd see something I wanted changed to make it mine.

Only complaint i have is I do not have spell check for posting.... might go look and see if I can find a plug in for it, oooorrrrr........

D is there a spell check plug in somewhere?

Stick with FireFox. Opera's been around for more then a decade now and has what, 2%( ) of the market? And FireFox is around four years old and already has +-20%.

It was a commercial app for 9 of those years, not open source freeware. People are cheap...

Use this link directly to Mozilla: there is one that google does with their toolbar already in it [I am pretty sure this is the one without it.]
