Liberia

Hi All,

I'll preface like I normally do, I don't post too often on here, but I read it everyday.

I just got back from a mission trip to Liberia a few months back. My wife and I are now in the process of adopting 3 children from there as well. This'll bring our kid total to 7!!

I wanted to share with you a couple of videos I put together. I hope to help get the word out about yet another african country in need. One of the sites is a fundraiser site, but I'm not looking for donations...I'd just like to give some more exposure to the faces of Liberia.

I hope this is something that is Ok to post about. If not I appologize in advance.

If anyone has any questions or wants to know about Liberia, I'd live to talk about it more.

Thanks,
Randall

You're a better man than I! If I had 7 kids they'd eventually find my remains in a secluded grove of trees somewhere with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to my skull!

I used to supervise a guy who had seven kids. I would wonder why he was always in a good mood with that many youngin's around. I'd be going to work exhausted. One day it dawned on me that he was happy just to be out of the house and enjoy the peace and quiet of working the flightline.

Yea 7 kids....zoinks! But you really have to follow what you think is the best thing to do. Helping 5 children I didn't help bring into this world, have a better life is rewarding..regardless of the tiredness.

That being said...I have NO idea what we are thinking!!!

As for the children of this country...I could say lots of things to that, but I'll limit it to this. (and by no means is this confrontational...just my opinion)

1. We have adopted 2 children from the US
2. The poorest of poor in this country, are blessed infinite times more than most of the world, Africa near the top of the list.
3. I don't know if you have adopted, so this isn't at anyone specific, but when a person does adopt/foster/support the hungry and homeless of the world, only then do they have a "right" to start questioning the motives or actions of those who are trying to make a difference.

Well, that was more political or confrontational than I ever meant it to be. Sorry...Just my thoughts.
