In fact, the next upgrade I make will be to a Intel Core 2 Duo Dual Processor Macintosh. Good riddance Microsoft!
I'm running Vista on same 3.0ghz machine but with 2gb of memory and it runs just fine. IE7 sucks on xp. Could save yourself some money and just get more memory and extend your PC's life.

Drop down the 'TOOLS' menu over on the right and choose Internet Options. I'm a big fan of IE7... if DZ is in the mix talking about a product, your best bet is to run in an equal and opposite way from his direction... you know what I mean -- straight elbows and a-holess only.
Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Opera is working good so far... Every time I hit the back button on my mouse, I get a "Failure" box that pops up, but it still works

Anybody know why I'm getting the failure box to pop up? It doesn't do it when I hit the backspace key to go back a page...but when I use the forwards/backwards key on the mouse or keyboard I get the failure box.

I dont know.... I havent gotten an error box of any kind on it yet.

Only issue I have had so far as I couldn;t open a page to pay my cell phone bill.

I had to go under quick preferences and had to enable proxy servers. Presto back in business.
