So on the way hme today through my neighborhood, a lady in a minivan is taking up the entire freaking street around a turn. Due to the snow I had no other option then to veer towards a house and miss both a tree and mailbox by inches, however I did takeout the person's bushes. I went to the house to see if anyone was home... No answer. What do you guys think I should do?
Each time you pass her house drive through the yard as the street is taken, while your at it do some donuts and tear up the grass. Thats what I would and have done in the past.
Never mind I mis understood your post I thought you meant the homeowner was parking halfway across the street, because they didn't want to park in the snow, causing you to lose control and drive around almost hitting the tree and mailbox

Explain that due to snow and oncoming traffic you lost control.
Don't blame the lady or the minivan.
Explain that you are a young person who endeavors to take responsibilty and offer to replace the bushes, that you will procure and install when the season permits.
Then follow through when called.
You are at a crossroads.

I completely agree with Raoul as this is the most mature and responsible route to take. On another note, NEVER think that nobody saw you. Yea the person may have not been home but the nieghbors may have been looking out of the windows for some reason or maybe someone was walking down the sidewalk that you just didnt see. Also, the driver of the minvan most certainly saw what happened and for all you know that person could be friends with the person who owned the lawn that you drove on to. When you think you you've gotten away with something, it most certainly comes back to bite you in the ***.
