The large chrome grill is just too big for my taste. The FX4 grill doesnt look bad, but I would prefer chrome bumpers.

Ugly Trucks.

It looks like you are looking at a nice truck through a hotel room door eye. "walleye vision". I was considering a new F350 but Ford has saved me that money. I think the new GMCs are the nicest looking trucks out there, but I want a solid front axle. That only leaves the Dodge, I don't think looks as nice as the Chevys but it sure looks nicer than the Ford. If I get a new truck it looks like it'll be a Dodge Powerwagon or maybe a Cummins. I get Dodges and Fords for cost so that rules out the Chevy's anyway.

I work at a Ford dealer as a Diesel Tech and we got our first 08 in this week. F350 SRW King Ranch diesel. I was hoping it would look better in person but I still can't stand the front end. Maybe a big bush bumper will cover it up. I also don't like the way the taillights didn't fit flush. The interior looks nice. I didn't like it in the one we had because I don't care for the King Ranchs. I'll bet it's nice in black leather. Maybe the truck will grow on me. It looks less offensive everytime I drive by it. I'll give it time.
My main interest was the new diesel so I took it for a quick ride. Wow, is it ever quiet! Lots of power in the low end. Once it is moving it doesn't seem to pull much harder than a 6.0, but it gets moving a whole lot faster. It'll be interesting to see how it pulls alot of weight around. Doesn't look like it'll be any fun to work on though. I'll have to get a new hoist just for pulling the cabs on them, as its required for any major engine service.

This seems to be what I'm hearing from most of the knowledgeable techs. If/when my 05 ever does wear out the next truck will be a Dodge
