i saw the shot with the cape may/lewes ferry, and immediately thought of vacation in summer.

even with the pictures its still bizzare to imagine ice meeting sand.

Yeh, it was pretty weird to see the ice on the beach, and to see it that thick. Just think, summer is only about 6 weeks away

only about 4 weeks to spring the clocks ahead. (new rules this year)


been staying out of trouble.

taking a short break now from spackling and painting a room in the house.

trying to spackle while keeping half an eye on a new terrier mutt (shelter dog) we picked up about 1 month ago. looks like it might be part short hair terrier. vet doesnt think it will get more than 22 pounds or so. i recall reading somewhere here not to long ago that you picked up a new pup also. hope thats working out for you.

since 'lunch' my family did end up taking a long weekend in cape may. cant remember the name of the inn we stayed at, but it was right across the street from the arcade on the beach. it had an awesome restaurant in the lobby, only drawback was they didnt have a liquor license.

we plan on going back next year either in early spring, or late fall.

Man, I cant wait for the summer. This cold weather is killing me. My washer fluid is frozen. I heard it is suppose to get real bad this week though.

 

I don't know where you live, but here in Northern Ohio, we have another Winter Storm Watch out for 8 inches of snow and then blowoing and drifting snow---then it gets cold again. by cold, I mean high of single digits; today it warmed up to 22 degrees. I shouldn'tbitch too much though, as places in Upstate New York has over ten FEET of snow.
